The Pediatric Department at South Shore Medical Center has been serving our area's families for over 40 years and now consists of ten full-time pediatricians providing comprehensive care from birth through college age at our offices in Norwell and Kingston. We provide well-checkups, problem/sick visits and emergency care at both sites and the Norwell office is open everyday except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In addition to our extensive hours, our patients also enjoy the convenience of comprehensive lab, x-ray, and ultrasound in both offices as well as a pharmacy in the Norwell office. We also provide Patient Services staff to assist our HMO and other managed care patients with needed referrals. As a multi-specialty group, our patients often benefit from our ability to obtain prompt on-site orthopedic, OB/GYN, surgery, dermatology, allergy, podiatry, and child psychology consultations.
All of our pediatricians are on the active staff of South Shore Hospital with its outstanding pediatric ER and Special Care Nursery, superb obstetrical program, and modern pediatric inpatient service. In addition we have courtesy admitting privileges and extensive consultative relationships with a wide array of subspecialists at Boston's Childrens Hospital and other Boston hospitals.
Our goal continues to be to provide the highest quality, most convenient pediatric care to the children of the South Shore. One of the ways we can do this is through our Asthma Management program.
