South Shore Medical Center Obstetrics/Gynecology Moves
to New Atrius Health Women’s Center in Weymouth

South Shore Medical Center is proud to be collaborating with Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, another Atrius Health affiliate, in the opening of the Atrius Health Women’s Center, which is dedicated to the unique healthcare needs of women.

Located conveniently off Route 3 in Weymouth (Rte 18), the site opened in February 2008. The OB/GYN staff of South Shore Medical Center and Harvard Vanguard in Braintree have permanently relocated to this new state-of-the-art facility to provide comprehensive women’s health care services for our patients under the Atrius Health banner. All South Shore Medical Center OB/GYN patients will continue to be seen by their current physicians at the new women’s center.

In addition to obstetrics and gynecology, specialty care at the center will include urogynecology services and reproductive health/fertility services. Atrius Health Imaging Center, opening in March 2008 at the same location, will provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging services including digital mammography, CT scans, ultrasound and bone densitometry.
