Important Notice for Pediatric Patients
Change in Process for Scheduling Well Visits
Beginning December 1, 2008, you will no longer receive automated telephone calls notifying you when physician schedules are open to book your child’s next Well Visit.
In an effort to increase efficiency and improve patient satisfaction, physician schedules are now finalized four months in advance. As a result, we are pleased to offer the following new process:
Babies / Toddlers Well Visits
Upon check-in at the Reception Desk for each Well Visit, you will be directed to the Pediatric Secretaries to schedule your child’s next 6, 9, 12, 15 or 18 month visit.
Annual Well Child Visits
Upon check-in at the Reception Desk for an annual Well Visit, you will receive a reminder card that indicates when to call to schedule your child’s next Well Visit. For your convenience, the back of the card is adhesive, and the protective backing may be removed and applied to your home calendar. Or you may choose to leave the backing in place and keep it with your other appointment cards.
You will continue to receive reminder calls for appointments that have already been scheduled.
