Announcing a First: Father and Son Pediatricians Practicing at Our Medical Center!

We are pleased to welcome Christopher Ramsey Cox as our tenth full-time pediatrician. Chris grew up in Hingham and graduated from Hingham High School in 1989. He was an Academic All-Big East golfer at Villanova University before going on to the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2001. He then completed a three year pediatric residency at Albany Medical Center Children's Hospital in June of 2004.

Chris recently moved to Kingston, MA, and will be seeing patients in both the Norwell and Kingston offices. Like the rest of the Pediatric Department, he will have full admitting privileges at South Shore Hospital.

Chris is married to Teri Miner, DO, who will also be joining SSMC as a Family Practice physician in the Kingston office. They have a son, Owen James Cox, age 9 months, who is incredibly adorable. If you don't believe it, ask his grandfather, James R. Cox, M.D., who, we should add, has no plans to retire anytime in the foreseeable future.
