Atrius Health Affiliate

South Shore Medical Center is an affiliate and founding member of Atrius Health (formerly HealthOne Care System, Inc.) Atrius Health is a not-for-profit organization comprised of Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, Dedham Medical Associates, Granite Medical Group, Southboro Medical Group and the South Shore Medical Center. HealthOne Care System, Inc. began operations on January 1, 2004.

Atrius Health is presently the largest Physician Network, not affiliated with a Hospital, in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is comprised of approximately 800 physician/providers that practice at 22 sites in the Boston Metropolitan area. Approximately 600,000 patients presently receive their primary care at one of these sites.

The primary mission of Atrius Health is to improve the present "Care" model by providing a totally integrated system of care for our patients, including easy access, up-to-date electronic connectivity with the care team, commitment to state of the art wellness and disease management programs, and a coordination of treatment that will insure a quality health care experience for our patients.

South Shore Hospital Affiliate

South Shore Hospital, a not-for-profit, tax exempt, regional provider of acute, outpatient, home health, and hospice care. South Shore Hospital is the first hospital in Massachusetts to earn maximum accreditation with commendation from the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) three times in a row.
